De piloten en het grondpersoneel liggen er naast begraven om de toestellen weer zo snel mogelijk luchtwaardig te maken :lol::lol::lol::lol:
Zou kunnen Jan, MAAR, het zou net zo goed kunnen zijn dat het waar is. Het is gewoon bekend dat er naar de oorlog veel onder de grond verdwenen is, wat moesten ze er anders mee? Ook zijn na de oorlog duizenden vliegtuigen in zee gedumpt o.a. voor de kust van Australië ( spitfires, mustangs etc) en in de Noorse fjorden ( Duits spul ). Het is alleen de vraag: wat is er van over na bijna 70 jaar onder de grond?
Zo is er ook in Nederland zo'n mooi voorbeeld van iets wat niet zou kunnen maar toch zo was, ga maar eens kijken wat men bij Crash museum heeft. Hele stukken en motoren van een B17. Deze kist was in Zwitserland in een meer beland, en waar vond Crash de spullen? In een kelder van een grachten pand in Amsterdam:blink::blink:
Ander mooi voorbeeld komt uit Noorwegen, een aantal jaren terug vond men 5-6 Duitse mini onderzeeërs terug die na de oorlog onder de grond verdwenen waren.
Dus laten we afwachten, het is een iedergeval zeker dat mensen er mee bezig zijn.

Ik begreep van een kennis dat de bewuste boer/speurneus op de Engelse TV heeft verteld dat de toestellen al gevonden zijn, eerst met grondradar en daarna is een van de toestellen met een camera door een proefboring bekeken.
Ben benieuwd......
(en waarom ook niet, als een BF-109E in India kan opduiken, en een Ro-37 in Afghanistan....)
Als je het over verdwenen toestellen heb dan is dit ook een hele mooie.

erg interessant! nu ik zo aan het nadenken ben, er liggen nogal wat vliegtuigen in de noordzee en het ijsselmeer, word het niet eens tijd die op te zoeken?:bleh:
Ik geloof dat er laatst bij Hoek van Holland een P40 is geborgd?
We zullen alleen nooit meer zoals een "Dinah Might" mee maken (B-17 in de Noord-Oost Polder). Blijft doodzonde dat die niet bewaard is.
Of we moeten nog eens een stuk IJsselmeer droogleggen. :p

Goh, ik moet dus op mijn woorden terug komen. Toch wel apart om te zien dat er op een aantal plaatsen nog verf op het toestel zit. Je zou zeggen dat in zo'n zanderige omgeving die er wel afgestraald zou zijn na 70 jaar.
Ik hoop dat deze machine een goede bestemming gaat krijgen!
