Heeft Noorwegen een connectie met Cierva autogiro's? Ik hoorde gisteren namelijk dat de autogiro "PH-HHH" van het Aviodrome recent verkocht is. (wat ik persoonlijk erg jammer vind, ik vind het een geinig ding!)

Via een betrouwbare bron vernomen dat dit verhaal niet klopt. Het Aviodrome heeft niets verkocht.

Ja, maar ik denk niet dat de Noren na zoveel jaar aan het toestel te hebben gewerkt het gelijk het eerste jaar naar het buitenland gaat. Er is heel veel geld en manuren in gestoken. De vlieger van de Starfighter wordt waarschijnlijk (90% zeker) die in 2012 het hele jaar deze F 16 vloog:Eskil Amdal.http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/333023310126955/

Ja, dan heb ik in Noorwegen wat navraag gedaan. Een Noor heeft in Hilversum een Slingsby Glider gekocht, die in april naar Noorwegen komt.

Informatie over de zoektocht naar de Britse Skua:
Still searching!
Last week we again visited Trondheimsfjord looking for parts from our Skua raised earlier. Also this time we used the ship Gunnerus from the NTNU. Because of the great depths all search were performed by ROV.
When raising the Skua, the aft turret as well as the gun position were lost. We do not have the exact position of the loss but will search three options. One of them was searched this time. Nothing found. The two other positions are to be searched sometimes November. The ROV operatet at depths of around 400 meters.
Last half of Wednesday was used to pick up parts lost at 270 meters. This happened when the aft cockpit floor parted from the aircraft when raising. Some structural parts as well as the light at the top of the canopy, the antenna outlet isolator and a part of the kit for the navigator were found. They were all to good quality and will be preserved for reuse.

Thursday was used to search the area where the DTMB Condor was raised. Priorities were on structural parts for the front fuselage. Some were found but at the time of writing we do not know if these parts are useful for the reconstruction. Also found were a landing light (bottom of the nose) and an oxygen bottle with regulator from the cockpit area. We do not know at this time if we are to perform more recoveries of this Condor due to the complexity of the operations.
