    Standaard The Soviet Stratospheric Planes

The Myasishchev M-55 (NATO reporting name: Mystic-B) is a high altitude geophysical research aircraft developed by OKB Myasishchev in the Soviet Union, similar in purpose to the Lockheed ER-2, but with a twin boom fuselage and tail surface design. It is a twin-engined development of the Myasishchev M-17 Stratosphera with a higher maximum take-off weight.

The first aircraft of this series took off August 16, 1988. By 1993, there were six examples built.

    Standaard

Put the camea on a good steady tripod, wait until it's dark, and open the shutter. I haven't done it but it's not that hard in principle.

    Standaard Comparing Chengdu J-20 with F-22, F-35 and Su-PAK FA or T-50

The J-20 is a Fifth generation aircraft with stealth capabilities. Only time will tell if the J-20 will match the current stealth aircrafts or will be superior than them. The F-22 Raptor has proven technology and hence it has been speculated that most of the 5th generation aircrafts today are similar to the Raptor.
It is also speculated that this proven design of the F-22 has either been taken by spying, purchasing and then reverse engineered to create a new prototype by rival nations.
If we compare the look and design of J-20 you will find that it has a delta-wing-canard layout whereas the F-22 and F-35 have both diamond-wing-conventional layout. The frontal aspect of J-20 looks extremely similar to that of American F-35 JSF with twin DSI intake and V-shaped tail. The J-20 has a canard-delta twin-engine configuration, diverted-less supersonic intakes, and a shaped nose consistent with the use of an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar. To maintain stealth, the F-22 carries its weapons in internal bays.
Have a look, and if your are more informations do not hesitate to share.

    Standaard The great aviation graveyard

The 'boneyards' in Arizona, California and New Mexico are home to hundreds of retired commercial and military aircraft that are stored in the dry desert conditions to prevent them from going rusty.
Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed and Airbus store planes at these bases, with the hope the planes will fly again. However many are eventually scrapped or used for spare parts. Have a look and do not hesitate to share your opinion.
