If my memory serves me well, the Design on the F-40 started during WW2. I personally have seen very detailled drawings of the interior layout and its construction within the wing. These 30 or more drawings were located at the Aviodrome library

I have also only the one drawing of the F40. But if it helps, here are all the drawings of project 180. This design has many common design features as compared to the F40.

This is quite interesting. Where there any other four-engine designs (beside the known ones F.36/F.22)?
    Met vriendelijke groeten,

    Interesting file..!
Is there someone who haves a better illustration of the F.40. Compared with the 180 ontwerpen , it seems to
    be a different design..

    Thanks in advance..

    Formidabel , dankjewel..!
This design made me think of the planned Fokker 6-engined twinboom freighter
for post war use on the Trans-Atlantic route.
(mentioned in an old " Vliegwereld " magazine , but no illustration)
